An inexpensive way to see the Battlefields is with a Gettysburg Bus Tour. There are a few different tours to pick from, and it’s a great mode of transportation for any age group. When I helped to book the itinerary for our Golden Pantherettes, many of the ladies chose the bus tour and spoke highly of it. There are a variety of tours to choose from as well, including Battlefield tours guided by a National Park Ranger, Ghost Bus tours, Audio Bus Tours, and even a double-decker bus tour.

I often find that Trip Advisor is a great resource when exploring the best type of activity for your needs. Often times, you can even book the tour through Trip Advisor.

If you are traveling with a large group, I suggest calling the Gettysburg Bus Tour company to inquire about group rates. We were able to negotiate a rate of $22.50 per person but I see that they advertise on their website now that most tours cost around $35 per person.
